3D technology brought upon the naked eyes
Our collaboration with Ceylinco to produce a commercial featuring a majestic elephant is one of the prime examples of our dedication to excellence and that project showcased our capability and almost every single one of our strongest suits. This project presented us with a couple of unique challenges where we had to level up our game with new techniques and technologies. The goal was to project the Ceylinco brand through the strength and glory of the elephant and link these qualities to the brand creatively and innovatively.
The major challenge here was animating a realistic elephant within a fully CGI background. The next difficulty was achieving a 3D effect using Naked Eye 3D technology which was technically demanding and required precise lighting and much advanced 3D technologies. OdloVFX greets the challenges we meet along the way warmly as we know that they will push us to expand our creativity and capabilities. In this project also we set out to explore and experiment with modern technologies and techniques, leveraging cutting-edge technology to bring this exact concept successfully to life.
The process began with a series of collaborative brainstorming sessions where the client, the agency, and we piled information and details about their brand, their vision, and the major purpose of this commercial. With a clear understanding of Ceylinco’s vision and objectives, we went on to develop the storyboard with great detail directing the whole production onto the intended path. These storyboards always served as a blueprint or a roadmap guiding our creative process and ensuring alignment with the client’s vision.
Once the concept development was completed, the production phase started. Our enthusiastic team at OdloVFX was excited as this production was a chance for them to step out of their current limitations and horizons. The production phase involved extensive animation and CGI work. We need to put a significant amount of effort and time into studying the movements and behaviors of the elephant in order to ensure a realistic appearance. Just as we expected, we had to utilize advanced software tools to achieve the desired level of innovation and creativity. We meticulously crafted each frame to capture the elephant’s majesty and strength. We used Naked Eye 3D technology incorporating specialized lighting effects and advanced 3D techniques to meet the desired 3D effect.
The post-production phase is where the sorcery happens. In this project, it was more critical than it was in any other project. The process involved meticulous editing and refinement to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness of the final production. Our team worked with a sharp focus on fine-tuning the visual effects and enhancing the 3D effect which leads to the seamless integration of the elephant into the CGI environment.
The resulting final production was truly exceptional. It successfully brought out Ceylinco’s brand message. The commercial was a highly successful project which received an abundant amount of positive responses from the client and the viewers. All of them were impressed with our ability to bring this vision to life through advanced VFX and 3D animation.
